Networking

We’re a network committed to the encouragement and support of women as leaders in the community.

Networking is our heart. We connect people that identify as women, particularly those working in the community sector, through in-person networking events. Coming together to meet others, discuss current issues, build confidence and form new professional relationships is what we are about.

Monthly Informal Breakfasts: Networking before MAHI

On the second Tuesday of every month (excluding January), we have an open invitation to women across Pōneke (Wellington) to join us at our informal networking breakfasts, known as Networking Before Mahi. Located at a variety of cafes across the city, these breakfasts are a great way for women to informally meet each other, share ideas and thoughts. There’s no agenda - come along, order whatever you want, and pay as you go! Check out our Facebook page to see where the next one will be…

Evening Events: Networking after Five

Two or three times a year, we organise evening events. In the past, we’ve had panel discussions, debates, film screenings and presentations, all with a focus on various aspects of women and their leadership journeys. Events aim to be low-cost for entry, enabling more to participate.
